Invicta 80622 wrist watches news:
I am interested in a Vintage Speedmaster - a pre moon ideally. This is for 2 reasons - I want something genuine which from what little I have read means getting something from approx 1965 the Pre-Professional 105.003 Ed White watch. There are other models - the 105.012 and 145.012, but the 105.003 is what I understand to be 'the grail watch'. The second reason is what attracted me to the Speedmaster is its link to Space exploration. I intend to wear the watch on a fairly regular basis - once a fortnight in an office environment so it shouldn't degrade.I have found dealers selling these watches and would like the following help - what should I expect to pay for a pristine example and exactly why / how special / rare are these watches. I have found dealers in London with them for approx ¡ê3,500, while another has one for ¡ê7,000 and doesn't seem to be able to explain why his watch is so much more. I will grant him that his is in exquisite condition, but given part of the reason for my int
Hello,I have acquired a Hamilton 770 22 jewel movement. It has a nice gold colored dial and gold hands. the dial measures 29 to 30 mm across. I have been looking for a nice case to put it in but have not been very successful. Can anyone point me in the way of a source for a case?I would really appreciate any help.Blinkdog
as it happen sometimes I have started to search for a new Seiko (Spirit Perpetual Calendar GMT SBQJ015) and ended with this ....(btw - no worries the SBQJ015 is yet to be purchased soon lol)This Casio is pretty similar to all other PAW1300 Pathfinders. What differentiate it is sort of an Orange / Bronze touch which I really liked.Other high level features are :Radio controlled - US / Europe / JapanSolar poweredABC - Altimeter, Barometer, CompassWorldtime5 AlarmsStopwatchTimerWR 100mModel # PAW1300B-4This is sort of a 'week-end' watch which I'll most probably use for hiking, cycling, jogging etc. In other words I doubt if I'll ever wear it at the office nonetheless I find it cool enough to be worth spending $200 (in the US).Some additional pic's -Cheers and a very nice week-end!
Anyone else take the plunge on the 'bay? I ordered this a few weeks ago and it arrived today.. No pics yet, but it is a blue dialed 6 hand watch with moonphase and day/date. I am stunned at how much watch I got for 18 bucks shipped. Absolutely stunned. I was in a jewelry store comparing to other new models since I am mostly vintage, and was amazed by how this looks next to a Citizen or even Omega. I mean, it obviously falls short, but it makes you start to wonder.Anyone else have a similar experience?
I have just purchased a submariner and am very pleased with it so far.I have a question about accuracy though. I recently noticed that it is gaining about 5 secs per day. Is this normal? I had assumed that any time loss would be much smaller. Am I barking mad or is my watch dodgy? Many thanksJay
