Invicta 80384 wrist watches news:
Well a moderator closed my other thread for some reason, suggesting I was trying to SELL a watch but I was not. I am interested in BUYING A 1986 Datejust from a friend who has one for sale and I wanted to get some information from all you experts out there about the watch. It is a brand new 1986 datejust, still in the box, never worn, has been sitting in a safe since 1986, all tags etc still in box.He wants me to pay him 1300 for it and I was wondering if this is a fair price for such a watch. It is in perfect mint condition and I would like to know as much about this watch as any of you care to offer. It is stainless steel with 18k white gold bezel and a white pearl dial, with SS jubilee band. Thanks for reading!
I rather thoughtlessly, perhaps rudely, hijacked TikkTakk's thread earlier. El Presidente and I share the joys and dangers of having a wife that frequents this forum. My wife, Watchwidow, had expressed some concern that a change in my Photobucket account had the effect of disabling her SOTC collection thread elsewhere. I rashly chose TikkTack's thread as a means of reposting it. However, my insertion of that repost generated some interest in Watchwidow's Cartier Santos. Rather than continue the hijack, I decided to post a Cartier Santos photoessay
Hey guys just have a general question that maybe some of you can answer. I have a black Audemars survivor and wanted to understand what my options were if and when it scratched or dented. It's in mint condition right now but overtime I imagine it'll run into a brick wall somewhere. So have any of you who own a black AP, or one that is coated using their DLC process scratched or dented the case enough to show the loss of material, if so is that something that is repairable?
I've been looking for a nice chronograph watch and after trying on an IWC Spitfire chrono and not being floored by it I decided to locate a Speedmaster Co-axial chronograph, the new one with the 44.25mm case and 3313 movement. Thanks to Father John he got me in touch with the person I need to talk to about locating one of these new speedys. It arrived last Tuesday and I was able to capture some camcorder snapshots of it. I'm planning on giving it a month or so before doing a formal review of it but so far I'm very happy with it and will likely keep it. Here is a picture that if I've done this right should link you to my picasa page for more pictures.picasaweb.google/lh/photo...eat=directlinkOne last question I have is I'm thinking of getting a strap for this watch and I stopped by my local Omega AD last Friday and the strap they showed me was $320 and was croc but looked like plastic. Does anyone have a good resource for after market straps for Omega Speedmasters that have buckles not
Hello gents. First time poster but long time lurker. I currently own a 5712r and a 5205r white dial and I am looking to add my third PP. I have a line to a brand new, unworn 5960P with blue dial. It is from 2012 so out of warranty but the stickers are still on the piece. Just curious as to what a good price would be to pay for this. Thanks in advance!
