Invicta 1759 wrist watches news:
Contributed by Aaron SigmondMONDAY EVENING, a full winter moon shone down on the Hudson River, playing with the reflection of Manhattan¡¯s lights on the water and ice that, just over four years ago, Captain Chesley ¡°Sully¡± Sullenberger III used as a runway for his ¡°Miracle on the Hudson¡± landing of the stricken Airbus A320 he was piloting.JeanRichard COO Bruno Grande & Captain SullyThis time, though, the river was merely a placid backdrop as Captain Sully was feted by JeanRichard COO Bruno Grande and guests at the Standard Hotel, a landmark in Manhattan¡¯s Meatpacking District. First came a cocktail reception at Le Bain lounge 18 floors above the Hudson ¡ª offering panoramic views of where US Airways Flight 1549 made its splash landing ¡ª and, later, dinner in the hotel¡¯s High Line Room, with splendid river views as well. There were many reasons for the festivities: the debut of Captain Sully as JeanRichard¡¯s newest brand ambassador, the premiere of the 1681 and Terrascope collections a
Hey Gang,Currently I've been thinking about changing some things up in my collection, ok I'm always doing that but...I had received an offer from a super nice guy here on TRF for a trade which included me receiving a 15202. Although that specific trade did not come to fruition, it did put the 15202 on my brain radar So here's the question:I currently own a 15400 silver dial which I really love. If I had to think of one complaint it would be mayyyybe it's a tad big. It looks fine on me. I do like the size. It gives it a bit of a sporty look on an otherwise very dressed up watch. The 15400 seems to not get much love here on the forum, overshadowed by the 15300 and even more so by the 15202. I¡¯m fine with that, I¡¯m past buying watches only because they are ¡°popular¡±. So I thought I¡¯d get some thoughts about the 15202 when it gets down to the brass tacks. PRO¡¯s:-The 15202 may be considered the purist Royal Oak, retaining much of the DNA from the original Genta design. From an horological p

Last week, I attended a showing at the one and only Panerai AD in Arizona. The president of Panerai North America was there, or so I was told. The purpose was to showcase the new Due line of watches from Panerai. A week or two prior, the AD had asked their customers to loan them any special edition watches from their collections. On hand were more than 100 unique timepieces. Of particular note, were a few vintage pieces that were amazing. This watch is from 1943 and is in incredible condition:The second coolest piece (IMO) was this watch from 1961. Note the welded on lugs:And finally, there was this set consisting of a wrist-worn compass and depth gauge. Very cool:It was a fun evening.
I¡¯m in Montego Bay until Sunday. Are there any good watch shops to check out while I¡¯m here? Doesn¡¯t matter what brands. Thought maybe I¡¯d buy something since it¡¯s the first time the wife & I have left the country without the kiddos!!! Lol
