.....#3 of 4 fun days (including the main event today) is over. Still hope to do some NYCtouring tomorrow if the weather holds up. What can I say....WE HAD A BLAST !!!...starting with Korean BBQ dinner on THU, visiting many watch stores on FRI,food festival and Cartier Boutique with museum exhibit this morning...and continuing with the GTG itself in the afternoon, more partying at the hotel bar afterward and 'late night pizza'juts a few minutes ago (as you can see from time shown on the watches above).Needless to say, I am running on fumes at this late hour and all the energy I have left is to type these few lines, post one picture & send the greetings to ya'll.However, I promise that once back home - I will post a day-by-day report with many pictures.Thanks to all that made it here this year It was great to see someold friends and even better to make new ones.....and in case you think this is fun & would like to join us next time - we will have a GTG #7 in Tampa this fall,(mos

My new old watch
DSC00480.jpgJust got this old boy restored. It didn't work when I got it. I don't know too much about it. I think its from 1939 or 40 if memory serves me well. I left the dial unrestored. New lume in the hands, new crown,crystal, sub second hand' regulator and a cleaning. I think it might be running a little fast though. I need to wear it a bit more to find out for sure. I really like but it looks small like a boys watch. What do you think? Ken

5712 moon phase
Hello everyone i wanted to know if i was doing it wrong. Changing the moon phase indicator on my 5712 but, i noticed that from the day i got it march 2014 to this day the moon phase didn't move. I tried pushing the pusher on the right of the watch but still nothing. So am i doing it wrong or many theres another way to adjust it, i am taking it to a Patek AD this week for service and will tell them to check the moon phase problem.
