Ceramics - 44 and Diver?
I have an AP 44 ceramic and find myself coveting a black ceramic diver also. I'll be interested in views on whether having both in a collection is redundant. Aquanaut second hand material?
Hello everyone at TRF! I wanted to post a quick question to all the Patek experts out here. I was just curious if anyone happens to know what material the second hand on the 5167 Aquanaut is made from? As you can see from the attached picture, it is beautifully bright white but has no luminescence to it at all. Could it be white gold that has been whitened for this effect? It almost looks like plastic, but surely Patek would not dream of using that material in a $20,000 timepiece! Any answers would be much appreciated!Thanks in advance!
