Hi All,There has been some discussions on the recent release of Rubber B straps for Rolex. I ordered one and just posted a review and installation guide here.Below is an excerpt. I would post the entire review here, but there are too many images and is somewhat detailed.-Sheldon-In June 2011, I came across Rubber B watch straps on buddy Jake's Rolex Watch Magazine These straps are specifically designed as a Rolex strap replacement that utilizes the existing Rolex clasp. Like many of the other replacement straps, the cheezy buckle did not match both the watch and Rolex's quality level.Seeing that these straps address the shortcomings of other Rolex replacement straps, I ordered one from Rubber B in preparation for a rafting trip that I am taking to the Grand Canyon. In my last rafting trip to the Grand Canyon, the band on the Rolex GMT that I was wearing did show some slight pitting from the gritty Colorado River water. For this trip, I wanted a band that was strong enough for the 7 day
How do you search on eBay ? Do you just click watches and then view a million pages or do you filter by region. Living in Ireland we have eBay.ie and the watches for sale in Ireland are a very poor selection, so filtering is the only option. Using the filter option on .ie I only ever choose European Union because this cuts out the Asian market and helps avoid the watches from Chinese and Thailand, Taiwan and so on. On the website I just use North America as the filter, am I correct in this lack of trust from sellers from these Asian countries or am I missing out on decent purchases. I understand that scam artists come from all over the world but filtering seems to be the only way to avoid the thousands of adverts for these new just watches.
hi theredoes anyone have any info on the Longines manufacture caliber 13.92. tried searching for it on the internet but with no result thanks for your timejon
I have been gradually getting more interested in Omega over the past year, ever since Chris (aka GMT Master) raved about them. I always liked the PO but felt it was a little too big and heavy. I like the diameter of the 42 mm model (as it seems extremely close to my GMT), but even it was a little taller than I'm used to, and a bit top heavy for me. I got pretty excited when I learned that the blue titanium model was being released in 42mm because I love the blue colour, and figured the titanium would solve my concern with the weight. However I had never actually tried on the 45.5mm titanium version until today. I was pleasantly surprised with the lightness - it felt much better on my wrist than even the steel 42mm. I also slightly prefer the proportions of the 45.5mm given the thickness of the PO.This is by far the biggest watch I own, and it might take a bit of time to get used to the size, but the lightness of the titanium makes it very comfortable for me. I will likely never
