Invicta 14134 wrist watches news:
SIHH 2012 opened today and the initial buzz from collectors is positive. Depending on which booth you entered, you might be greeted by a fighter jet and aircraft carrier, or enormous timepiece and a 3.5 ton piece of Germany. Here are a few quick snaps to set the scene for SIHH 2012.
Hello folks,As a few of you might be knowing, there are 2 vintage Rolex heirlooms in my family, both belong to my grandfather (who passed away 10 years ago). Both are pre 1960. This was the time when nobody in India knew what Rolex was. My Grandfather explained about the watches, their value, their exclusivity in great detail to my father, who was just a kid back then. But as time passed by and my father really began taking interest in watches, he actually realized what those watches meant. Since then, he wanted a modern Rolex in the collection (which at that time just consisted of my Grandfather's pocketwatches and wristwatches). Meanwhile, I too began taking interest in watches (courtesy this great site) and realized the existence of that void. However, two weeks ago, a deal on a pre loved sub came up and things st
Hi all, new member here. After a long decision process I'm after an Omega SMP 2254.50, but they seem to be rare! Does anyone know of one available? Preferably a late model with all papers, boxes etc. I'm based in Manchester, UK.
As we are all aware, Hamilton prodi=uces a number of modern interpretations of tgheir vintage designs. Most of these watches are part of their Timeless Series. With all of it's current variations, the Ventura is in a category by itself. Even the Brooke has it's own category with the XS, XL and vintage models being produced with different dials. But what of the poor Lloyd? Currently only the chrono is being produced in two colors. Yet, Hamilton does not include this model in with the Timeless Series. It is certainly a nice alternative for someone looking for a big square watch. Are there any Lloyd fans here?
Even since I was kid, I wore a watch night and day. I am sure we have a few others that are like me ;)So what's your favorite nightime watch. For me, it's my new Aviator GMT. The tritium tubes are filled to almost 4x the standard tritium tube. This gives off great light in low light situations, and incredible lume in the dark also. This is the first H3 watch I have had that has this kind of power.the watch is on it's side, crown up:
