Invicta 17092 wrist watches news:
Romain Jerome has announced that it has parted ways with CEO Yvan Arpa. Also leaving the company are the head of administration, the sales director and two other staff members. No reason was given for the departures. Romain Jerome’s press release states that “…the change of management in no way jeopardizes the ongoing success of the company, which continues to enjoy excellent sales, promising order volumes and an extremely strong brand image.” Romain Jerome was founded in 2004 and Yvan Arpa joined the firm in 2006. During his tenure, Arpa created a series of eyebrow-raising timepieces including one made from pieces of the Titanic, another priced at $300,000 that did not tell the time, and for 2009 one called “The Truth About Roswell” that incorporates moon dust into the dial (pictured below). The company assures us that deliveries of the Moon Dust-DNA collection will take place according to the planned schedule.
I just picked this up today. It's my first chronograph and I am pretty happy with it. :)
Just had my AD send my 3 week old Breitling Airwolf Raven back to BUSA. I recently noticed that in a few areas there are very tiny specks of something, looks like dust is the only way I can explain, under (inside) the crystal. They are very hard to see but once you know they are there then it's all I look at. Has anyone else had this problem?
I am on vacation and went for a swim. About 15 minutes after exiting the pool, my friend asked me how the crown guard lever worked. I assumed I was dry by then but still, I stupidly open and then closed the lever. but the watch didn't appear wet, but even so, I realized this wasn't the smartest thing to do. A half hour later I checked it and it was fine. But fast FWD a few hours later, after dinner I noticed my crystal had gone foggy. So what do I do now? Will it go away? Or does it need service now?
Hi, sincere apologies if this has been discussed before, believe me, I have searched and googled but I have not quite been able to find what I am after.I will be receiving my ceramic Submariner soon and I am curious about what it would be like to wear on a rubber or leather strap, most specifically the comfort aspect. I know that the Submariner is by all accounts very comfortable to wear on it's steel bracelet. So, my question is, do you find a rubber/leather strap more or less comfortable to wear than the steel bracelet? In real world daily use, what do you prefer?I love the way it looks on steel, but I can see that it might be fun to change things around sometimes. Thanks in advance for any advice.
