Date question
Hello all!,The following has happened to me: About to weeks ago my brand new three month old GMT IIc was in the process of flipping its date at about 4 mins past twelve and when it clicked and stayed half way. I was obviously concerned so I unscrewed the crown and tried moving the independent hour hand one notch(forward) and the date quickly finished clicking into place. After this incident it has never happened again! That watch does its quick change somewhere between 2-5 mins past the 12hr. I tried the date changing mechanism by moving the independent hour hand both forwards and backwards manually and the date changes quickly as it is supposed to. I called RSC NYC and they said it was probably a minute dust particle and that if it hasn't happened again not to worry and to enjoy the watch in good health!!! Can someone shed any imput!!!!!Other than this my watch performs -1 to -2 secs a day max no matter what...Talk about precision>Ed
