Old 70s 7546 Seiko quartz
I have just been won over to the dark side. I see that I am a Seiko lover, and now I am curious about all the Asian watches. My 009 diver is just beautiful and gives me the feeling of getting a super deal at a great restaurant that hasn't been written up in the paper. A great value and secret.I have a question for you Seiko experts:I have a couple Seiko quartz watches which I also love. One of them is still running strong from the 70s - it reads '7546 8519' on the bottom of the dial. Maybe someone can tell me about that one. It is deadly accurate. It is very similar to a brand new quartz 'gold tone' Seiko I bought for Christmas that is identical with the day/date, but also has raised indices. Are these the same exact movements?Is one considered better than the other??????Thanks, y'all.

I`m sure Dennis posted this issue on horology series, but I could n`t find it, and I`m busy to seek through the forum IMHO...I see and read about watches with 4 jewels, 8 jewels, 16 ...etc.Please let someone explain something about this???Thank You.
