Invicta 14757 wrist watches news:
Albuse WatchThought I would share this with you. I believe it dates from the late 20's, early 30's?A Swiss 6 jewel movementA 2 piece nickel case with engraved sideNot much is known about this company, if anybody has some information to share I would be pleased to read itI have owned several Albuse¡¯s , they all have some sort of engraved bezel and a elaborate dialThis is another one of mineThis one was taken for the swamp.Enjoy B
I have the night off work so I'm starting the daily thread early today. I hope y'all don't mind.I just got my A-604 back from the shop. When it first arrived in this condition, I was a little unsure of my judgement in purchasing it. Now that it's been serviced, polished up and fitted with a decent band, I'm suitable impressed with it. Apparently, this is another one that keeps better time now than my watchmaker's own new Khaki.New pictures are certainly in order for this one. I have a backlog of watches that need new photos including a couple of new arrivals that I haven't shot at all yet.
Boschett Reef RangerI have had the fortunate experience to own and experience the new Reef Ranger from Boschett Watches (boschett-timepieces). This watch was designed and inspired by the owner of the company, Keith Boschetti. Keith took his knowledge, and the input from other watch enthusiasts, to combine and produce his first production, all Swiss watch - the Reef Ranger.
Anyone knows about them? Apparently 12 made.Just been offered one.No idea on valuation.
So the more believable rumor is that Rolex under estimated this year¡¯s demand (based on previous year sales) which lead to the shortage we live in now and that lead some ¡°borders¡± to hord a lot of the daughters after modelsUp until a few months ago the LV, BLNR and other SS models were available (except the Daytona C)With the beginning of the new year and with supply coming to the market (hopefully) that should bring things back to stabilityThe question is........People like myself who have a deposit down on a watch (lv in my case) when/If supply is back, is it smart to buy right away at full MSRP? Or wait and see? Risking not being able to get the same watch again vs waiting and getting it at a discount? My crystal ball is at the shop, anyone¡¯s crystal ball working?
