Below are two pictures that effectively show the same Omega timepiece but are, in fact, in my opinion a world apart. Both of them stopped me in my tracks when I saw them for the first time. Both for very different reasons.The first is Ed White¡¯s watch that was the first Speedy Pro to be sent into the vacuum of space and which also survived the horrific fire of Apollo1. I found this picture a little while back and, although the picture isn¡¯t great and the watch has been beaten up somewhat, I found myself staring at it for some time. I was lost in admiration and awe for what this watch had been through. The used condition actually helps with the awe that this watch carries as you start to imagine how each of those marks on the exterior of the watch were made.The second picture is one of the best Speedy Pro pictures I have ever seen and the one I voted for in the recent competition. Hey, y'all. I'm new here. I wanted to show you my baby - the Bond Seamaster (2531.80.) I've wanted this puppy for the past 8 years and finally bit the bullet a few weeks ago. I had to buy it on eBay since it's out of production, but I did all my homework to make sure it's legit and now I couldn't be happier.

Coutura Band Pin Broken
Hello all,I am hoping to get some good advice from knowledgeable watch folks. I have a Seiko Coutura watch. I dropped it a few days ago and it broke a pin. It is the one closest to the actual case itself so the first link. It appears as if it is much smaller than the links made for removal to size the band. I am guessing it is one that isn't easily removed or replaced. It is either held in by two half pins or the pin was sheared (my guess) because I saw a small section of the pin fall out but part still remains and the band is secure, but a little loose. How should I go about fixing the band? Head to a local jewelry store?I really appreciate your thoughts and opinions.

Had this watch for about 30 years it came from the virgin isles and it says 14k gold on the case the no inside are w6855 and 290267, 17 jewel. does any one recognize it ,any info would be appreciated

New SS BLRO only on a Jub.....WHY??
So I have heard/read several places that the new Stainless BLRO cannot be on a Jubilee, but I have not heard anyone explain how Rolex has made it impossible to change bracelets on your own once you get home.Anyone know the answer to how they have pulled this off or have I misunderstood and the point is that it can only be ORDERED on a Jub?
