Hi there. I'm based in the UK and am thinking of buying a watch from a dealer in Germany. I assume that the price I pay would include German taxes but would I also be stung for import duties/taxes when it is delivered to me in the UK? It's a daft question, I know, but I know that you're good and helpful people and won't rip me to shreds for asking.Best wishes...

Picked up this SS Hamilton locally earlier this week.Right at 34mm without the crown. Simple, almost teardrop lugs.almost. Very elegant, hand wind, no date.great dress watch.This sucker have model name?Oh. Can't get the case back off.DOH! So I don't know what movement this has. Any help there, too?

First Post - Just a few Q's
Hey guys i've loved Breitlings for a long time and usually don't wear watches at all.. But i'm single was nerdy for most of my life and have a few extra dollars to throw around for a nice watch... i've been reading posts from 2006 and on, and am getting kinda confused on what i really want now. So here it goes.. I need a nice everyday watch that i will take off while working at my restaurant or my other desk job(yes 2 jobs :), (some customers dont like to see you wear nice things) But that can take a beating, meaning that i know how much it costs BUT i really don't care if i nick a doorway and hit the band, and to also not fall apart if i do hit something. No diamonds or blinged out.. but a watch that people will think it's nice.. BUT then say... OHHHHHHH it's a breitling... or ohhh it s a rolex? niiiiice. I figure i'm single have a good job.. why not.. stop spending it on gadgets (chicks don't dig it as much lol)Im thinking of starting out used as i haven't worn a watch in about 8 yea
