Isn't that one of the most peaceful places you've ever been? I keep promising my wife that we'll go. I've been 50+ times, but she's never seen that magnificent place.
Hey everyone,I have a vintage watch of my grandfather's that I just came into possession with unfortunate circumstances. It has been sitting in a drawer for a while and definitely not in great shape, so I'm hoping to restore it.Since I don't know very much about Omega watches (or watches in general for that matter...), I was wondering if anyone can help identify this watch for me. I know that he originally bought it in Japan back in the late 1940s. I know that the best way would be to open the back and look for some serial #s but I'm currently abroad and can't say that I particularly trusts random watch repair shops here. I do plan on working on this after I return to the states but still wanted a little bit more information beforehand if possible.Pictures of the front and back are attached. Some more info:- The original strap/buckle and crown are gone (since it's gold, apparently went to become earrings for my great-grandmother...). - My grandmother thinks that this was made for the 10

Hello All- So I’ve developed a small bad habit. I evidently love to trade in pursuit of the perfect watch. I own other Rolex watches but have been trading back and forth with DavidSW. I ended up trading my Rolex Datejust TT on Jubilee bracelet (116233) silver dial for a SS/WG Rolex Datejust on oyster bracelet (116234) blue dial. I have to say that I love dials with color on them, and I also wear a ton of blue. This being the case, I am very excited to have it. I also love the WG bezel too. Pics below!
