- I've had this watch for several years -- since it cost about $200 brand new. I finally need to replace the band, though, and find it will cost about $50 [$]to replace it! It's too nice a watch to go for a cheap replacement, but sheesh!

WatchFan got me thinking about a watch project that RGM did with Hamilton 222 series. I've had these parts put away for years (the movement, the case, and the band). Can anyone help me with the following things?1. Need info on a dial and hands(What styles would work)2. Have to find a watchmaker (I know the mov. will have to be converted)3. Want feed back from members who have done project watches Check out the pics of what I have and any feed back will be appreciated. Thank you, Ivan1998
Hey guys,I currently have a white dial 26320st. Long story short I am getting a bit bored of the look and have long wished I picked a black dial instead.I am considering ordering a black rubber strap for it. Along with the strap I am also considering a dial change from white to black.Do you guys think the black rubber will look better with a white or black dial? Does anybody have any pictures? I remember a member on here with an older white dial ROC on rubber but I forgot his name. Wach something.Any input or pictures (or even photoshops) will be appreciated.Thank YouKenny
Have an Omega Speedy pro incoming... Hope to be part of this sub forum soon!
I recently purchased a used (mint condition) no date sub. The seller stated that the watch is a ref # 14060 manufactured in 1999.I was surprised when I turned the bezel that it did not click and that it turned in both directions. I know the older subs were bi directional with the click when turning, but it was my understanding that the newer subs were uni directional (counter clockwise only).Any idea what year Rolex changed this on the no date sub?Is it possible for a 14060 made in 1999 to have a bi directional bezel? It is possible to verify the manufacture date of the watch? Possibly from the serial #?One last question. How many links are supposed to be on the bracelet for a watch of my vintage? Thanks for your insight.
