Breitling a1334102/ba85-1or wrist watches news:
Just about a month ago, we announced the release of the Autdromo Prototipo Brian Redman LE; you can check that out here. Well, in the last couple of weeks I've had the chance to spend some time with both the steel and gold plated models, and boy can I tell you, they're nice. Now, we've actually talked about the Prototipos many times before, which includes an in-depth review of them, so I'm not going to go through them again. Rather, today I'm just going to share with you a gallery of pictures I took. But rest assure, my thoughts haven't changed since the review though these new models do offer a slightly different twist on the theme. The build and finish quality is the same, they exude 70's style and simply a joy to wear. The biggest difference is the addition of gold plating for 100 of the 500 watches. I was surprised by how much I liked it. I'm not a gold guy, and have never been drawn to gold sport watches, but it worked. The gold was less blingy than expected, with almost a champagn
I see they are running the Rolex 24 hour race in Daytona Beach today. I wonder how many drivers wear a Rolex. I see Rolex is running several commercials during the race for the Rolex Daytona watch too. I guess what better place to run a commercial for a Rolex watch than during the Rolex race. I wonder if Rolex gives a watch to the winner, in addition to their money winnings? Rob
Sonbol-Watchesis this a joke? I can't stop laughing reading he's BIO lol. "54mm face" don't forget to check he's watch collection, but try not to eat while looking at it, I don't want you to choke.
I'm thinking that my next watch would be a Momentum M50. Looks great, super tough, long battery life. Then I saw the M30. Samwe case with an automatic movement, plus 100.00 I think. Anybody have thoughts, pros cons? I like automatics just wondering if durability-wise it would be as tough as the quartz. Also if it's worth the extra money JUST to get an automatic when the quartz is so good. I'm not a diver, so it's really just for looks.
Hey Everyone,I am finally feeling the pull of a Patek dress watch.Seeing the 5270 (white dial) and 5131r in person has cast a spell on me.But are those too dressy for more casual attire?Since dress watches are not something I have a lot of experience with,I am coming here to seek sage advice.Question: Which Patek Dress watch references, metals, dial colors etc. are the easiest to wear with casual attire as well as more dressed up.I am not looking for any Nautilus (including 5980, 5990, etc) or Aquanaut references, but more the classic (and modern) Patek dress watch references.Main criteria 1) Definitely under $120-130K (but more realistically $50-100K range)2) Must dress down to even jeans, shorts, sandals, nice shirts, and sharp graphic tees even. Is that possible to pull off in a fashionable way?3) Ideally a watch that will not tank on the secondary market. My preference would be platinum, but white gold may be necessary for monetary reasons.Actually I am open to suggestions on which
