Citizen BL5250-53L wrist watches news:
HiI am soon to buy my first Hamilton in the next few weeks. I have a ?1500 budget but not sure what to get, although I have had my eye on either the jazzmaster open secret or the railroad both with black face and strap. Any reviews or thoughts on these watches would be much appreciated. Regards Scotty
I just saw Dennis's (ulackfocus) new pick-up from the seventies, a beautiful Longines Olympian and I thought, hey, let's see some heavy American iron from the seventies! So let's see some of those big and crazy American watches from the funky, cool 70's!My big and bold and all 70's Benrus Citation - Electronic!
Just got my first AP - a ROO Panda! Watch fits great, wears comfortably, and I think will see lots of wrist time... Thanks to the members here for great information and pictures while I was deciding what to get. Been looking to consolidate my collection for a bit now, and over the weekend went from 9 down to 5, picking up the Panda and credit towards a potential future 15400...Only question I have is whether the AP GP blk/red strap will fit on a bracelet watch?
I fall in love again:My PO LM LE doesn't get the wrist time it deserves as I tend to baby it due to its uniqueness. But when it does get on my wrist, my heart goes, WOW! It's hard to keep my eyes off of it. Wearing it while driving my car is downright dangerous. And to come indoors after being outside on a sunny day, the blue lume jumps off the dial and hands! When it arrived back in May 2010 and I opened the box, my wife said, Elegant! I must agree.
As the title says, people¡¯s thoughts? I think I prefer the Air King with its green coronet and second hand adding a bit of sporty colour, just interested in opinions, is the modern Air King thought of differently to the older models, which I always thought of as entry level, or is that still the case? Not much between the two specification wise that I can see, Air King 40mm, Explorer 39mm, both 100m water resistant, different movements though, 3131 compared to 3132, not sure of any practical difference that makes. Both pretty easy to get from stock at AD¡¯s in the UK, Explorer is good to go and Air King souced within a week or so. Thanks for any replies in advance.
