Invicta 13727 wrist watches news:
I want a another nice, decent watch, and have narrowed it down to 3 types, A Gervil, a Longines and an Oris.Has anyone any experience with any of these...quality wise?Gervil Heritagelongines dolcevita:Oris Miles:thanks :D
I don't know why, but I seem to come across some decent deals on watches on my wish list at this time of year. I was discussing what I should look for next with a few other vintage collectors from various forums after showing off (well, what else would you call it?) the 1968 Omega Seamaster 321. Todd (huntershooter) threw out an IWC caliber 89, which immediately went on the list. I miss having one after selling my stainless version last year and I vowed to replace it with a gold version sometime this year. I've also talked quite a few times about a vintage JLC Memovox now that I know how incredible Le Sentier's work is on their own watches. That hunt is coming along nicely and I'm about confident enough in my knowledge of the various case reference numbers and which dial/hand combos they match up with. You would be shocked at how many slight variation there are! Luckily I have some good photos for reference. Anyway, that is another on the short list of 3. Which brings me to
One of our Omega Seamasters stopped running and I posted in that regard several weeks ago. It was under warranty and has been sent to a service center. How long it too long to wait to get it back?
I was on the Rolex section just now and read a post of a member brushing out the PCL's on his GMT, don't throw stones at me as I have no intention of doing it on my 5712 which is IMO absolute perfection but does anyone know someone who ever had the PCL's on Nautilus bracelet brushed out? Of course we are not taking into account the legendary wood chopping 5711 or 3700 don't remember which it is.I suppose it would look great, a little more sporty as the PCL's give them a dressy kind of look, if I had a very big collection I just might be tempted to do it on one of the Nautiluses I would have, anyways I won't have a big collection as I am much happier with 1 to 3 piece collection. If anyone has photos of a Nautilus with brushed PCL's would love to see it.
Hi guys,I've got an itch for a Pepsi GMT but not sure if I should be looking for a 16700 series or 16710. I realise that the later model has the independent hour hand giving the option for 3 time zones but are there other considerations? Do people prefer one over the other and if so why?Unless a ceramic model is due to be launched I'm going to look at pre-loved. Many thanksSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
