In the early summer of 2015, we sat down with Jaeger-LeCoultre to take a look at something special they wanted to show us. We were not able to take pictures at the time, but we did get some excellent hands-on time with the follow-up models to the "new" Geophysic collection that was introduced by Jaeger-LeCoultre in 2014 (hands-on here). The Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic collection has now officially blossomed with a unique personality as well as a unique family of movements which is something not only new for Jaeger-LeCoultre, but represents a new value proposition for watch collectors. The first of the 2015 Geophysic watches is this Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic True Second.To make a long story short, the new in-house made Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 770 automatic movement has a "true second" complication, which means that even though the movement is mechanical, the second hand "ticks." on the Longines Master Collection Moonphase?A local AD has just got one in, and I couldn't resist having a closer look, (and try it on OF COURSE ).The pictures don't do it justice; it is a fantastic looking watch, and the size, at 40mm is just big enough - any smaller and I think it wouldn't sit 'right' on the wrist, but that's a subjective opinion and would obviously differ depending on your wrist size.The blued hands look very classy, and I think the dial strikes the right balance between showing detail without being too 'busy'.I have to admit, I'm not a great fan of the crocodile strap. It does match the watch well, as it is essentially a dress watch, but the strap seemed a bit thin; not quite 'cheap' but not as high quality as I would have expected for a watch of this price. It does have a deployant clasp which is very nice. Another option is an SS bracelet - correct me if I'm wrong but does it look a bit like a Speedmaster bracelet? I didn't see the bracelet so can't really commen

Help me decide on a new 41mm ROC....???
Ok guys trying to get some opinions to help a good friend decide. Choices are the new 41 ROC in Rose Gold. Hung up on dial color. What do you guys think. I personally love the Black on Rose Gold.

So panic mode, the boy has Tennis..got my days mixed up cos kids did not have school Friday. Tennis starts un 15 min..It s a 20 min drive and nobody is dressedPlus wife left me a car with empty tank..Great.Everyone is running...I go grab the wallet ...slap a watch on..1st one i see.Off we go...while I am driving i see that I have a watch on my left wrist...while I usually wear my watches on the right.That luminox is carbon fiber ...so light u forget u are wearing it.End result. .
