Invicta 10955 wrist watches news:
Let me share with you a few of the words that Graham uses to describe its newer Chronofighter Oversize GMT Black Steel watch collection. The name itself is long enough as it is. Let's see here, according to our friends at the British Masters this watch is "chic, gutsy, dogged, classy, undaunted, a milestone, magnetic, skilled, extra sensitive, faithful, and a backslider." Wow, that sounds like rock band made up of a KGB spy, an ex dictator turned psychologist, Alexander the Great, and a criminal who was formerly an arch bishop. I had to look up "backslider" by the way. No, it isn't a cool way of falling down the stairs. Apparently it is a religious term for a "saved" person who has fallen into sinned. Oh Graham, you dogged backslider you.Ignoring the thesaurus-derived spew we can focus on the watches themselves. The design is a bit of a hybrid between some of what Graham has offered in the past. Mainly its famous Chronofighter and GMT watches. When I first learned about Graham watches
looking between the HB-SIA Co-Axial GMT Chronograph and the Seamaster 300M Diver Chronothoughts between the two watches and what about titanium? What is your opinion? Does it scratch easier? Too sporty? thanks
I was enjoying my morning coffee and came across this listing that rubbed me the wrong way: (I think the image should load.)This type of attitude is toxic, is it not? With this mentality, when will your watch be good enough? I remember trying on my first Aquanaut and looking at the beautiful gold rotor and dial. Owning an aquanaut is something that is truly exclusive, rare and in my opinion certainly not to be scoffed at. In what real-life circle will someone feel this way? According to this gentleman, I should be ashamed of aquanaut ownership? Is there an 'aquanaut' stigma that I was unaware of? Apply this principal to any material goods, is it even possible to be happy with what you have? There is always something more expensive and 'better.' Personally, I'm going to just be happy to have the fine timepieces I have and maybe, just maybe, one day I can own a Patek that isn't looked down upon.
Hey Guys,Asking for alittle help/ suggestions...Most of you are aware of the clasp/deployment on the 5712R Nautilus. So the noise is coming from the setting screw and the folding clasp rubbing each other when I turn my wrist...You will hear a verbal clicking noise when I turn my wrist. So I brought it back to my AD, and they didn't really have an answer...So I ended up finding a piece of clear rubber and placing it between the folded clasp and the screw....It works, but I feel like I'm rigging and 40k watch....What else can I do?
Hi, so after many days of trolling through the internet for a suitable super jubilee, I¡¯ve come up with a (temporary?) solution using what¡¯s on hand.U serial 16570 Polar gets SEL Oyster bracelet from Y serial 16710 Pepsi;7,2xxx (birth year) 16014 gets HEL Oyster from 16570;Y serial 16710 gets 62510H jubilee from 16014... & viola! Had to slightly adjust the DJ¡¯s 555 endlinks to fit the Pepsi but all seems to fit okay. Don¡¯t worry, I am on the hunt for more suitable 502t endlinks! Bonus is that my DJ instantly becomes more wearable and the SEL bracelet upgrade significantly improves the previously rattly Polar! Anyway, this was my quick and nasty remedy to catching Basel-Pepsi fever (it¡¯s going around) without having to endure the years long wait list from the AD or inevitable extortionist grey markups... or am I doing it wrong?
