I hope not. I might have my watch serviced by a reputable local watchmaker since i have had bad experiences with shipping items Fed ex/USps losing my items. I know I can insure it but if my great white gets lost, it would be hard for me to locate a new one.Can anyone assure me that ONLY GENUINE parts would work with Omega Seamaster internals?

I have an Orvis watch that I purchased from one of their catalogues about a year ago. I have been surprised by how accurate it has been. I would always check it against the clock in my truck while going to work, and noticed that it was pretty much, dead on.Two days ago I decided to check it against the Greenwich Mean Time, and found that it is +4 seconds a day. To me that is accurate! Has anyone else tried an Orvis watch? This particular watch is the Vintage Mechanical Chronograph.I did some checking, and although no one says what movement is in it, by the looks of it, it is the Chinese Seagull ST-19, which was modeled after the Venus 175. There is even the word China, 3 ATM, on the back of the case.It is a manual wind, stainless steel watch, with two registers. Small seconds at 9, 30 min. counter at 3.
How's it going fellas?I'm in Jamaica for the next week...any suggestions? I plan to see the AP AD here, but find them to expensive...better deals here for BNIB
