- I loved the look of this watch, not gaudy purple, very rich looking but the watch would not keep time. I reset twice the first day I wore it and both times it fell behind on the time. Had to return.

Invicta 17270 wrist watches news:
Newbie alert...I recently bought a 1970 five star admiral watch on Kijjijji. I would like to get it serviced however there are no service centres near my location so I will need to ship it out to a reputable dealer. I need the name of good watchmaker and I'd like to know how much I will be charged..ballpark..for a complete overhaul and I would also like the watch face reconditioned. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Hello to all Hamilton Forum members. I am very pleased to have found a Hamilton forum, especially one that has lots of vintage fans. I've been in love with Hamiltons since my early teens and got my first in 1992. It was a white gold plated Ventura that my mom bought me for high school graduation and it still sees frequent wrist time. I would like to post pictures of my Hamilton collection and was wondering what kind of cameras people here use. I'm not a photo guy and only have a simple Sony digital for snapshots (I've tried it with my watches to no avail). Anyhow, happy to finally be posting here. Since I can't post a photo I will simply share a list of my current Hamiltons (the search continues!). Best to all from California...Vintage:Sea-Lectric II (circa 1966 - beautifully restored last year by Rene Rondeau)Sebold (1964 new old stock)Perry (1931)Gary (1962)Stanford (1941)American Classics:Ventura (white gold)Piping Rock (white gold 1928 NY Yankees)Ardmore Linwood Viewmatic L
And Happy Holidays to those here that don't celebrate Christmas May each of you receive health and prosperity from Santa this year
I'm basically no lonet happy with Rolex, especially the new oils, new flaws, and what's looking to be much more frequent servicing ....Give me some ups and downs on the Aquanaut. . And approximate used value on a stainless piece. Rubber strapBelieve it or not, it's by far my favorite Patek piece. Time to step away from this DSSDThanks all
Back when I purchased my no date SS Sub in July, I thought the dealers were bluffing when they said it was going to be impossible to get a SS Sub by the latter part of the year. Well, it turns out maybe they were right. My friend here in Dallas has been trying to get one, and after calling all the dealers within 100 miles, no luck. They have told him it could be Feb/March before they are available again.Crazy. Guess that means ours have gotten at least a temporary bump in value
