I have a Kalonium encased unidentified Omega movement and was wondering if anybody knew anything about these. I found a bit of info about Omega using the trademark Kalonium on the early steel cases but not anything on this watch. The dial reads "Brock & Co" and there's a name engraved on the back of the case. Can't find any identifiable info on the movement other than the brand and a serial number.Anyway, any info would be appreciated. Craig
I don't like wearing a pocket-watch in my trousers watch-pocket. I find it very uncomfortable and inconvenient while it looks cooler if you do it the old-fashioned way with a waistcoat. What's your opinion?
I know this is a very basic and naive question, but I would like some advice. I live in Seattle and know many owners of small gift shops. Many of them sell some pretty cool things and are doing well. I've noticed that most of them do not sell watches, and I thought: WHY DON'T I SELL A WATCH IN HERE????These people know me well and like me. I was wondering about contacting a maker of a trendy and cool-looking quartz watch which would sell for about $100. Could I become a 'dealer' for such a small company? Would I have to buy a hundred watches or something? Are there companies who would pay me 20-30% to place their watches on spec????I'm just wondering how it works. I see an opportunity here. I LOVE watches and I KNOW these people. Could I get in without a huge investment??????Mahalo,Enzo
