Invicta 10840 wrist watches news:
Hi folks, could someone point me to the price of one this watches. With and without papers. Thanks in advance.
Hi. I have just purchased a 1970s Mans Rolled Gold LED watch, it has no makers name on it anywhere, however it does have a small logo and " base metal bezel" " stainless back" " USA" engraved on the case back. The logo looks like ld inside a circle, the movement looks like it could be made by Fairchild. Would anyone be able to tell me if this is a watch that was produced by Hughes ? I believe they are a branch of the Hughes Aircraft company. I am going to see if I can add some pictures soon.
Was having a holiday in Hong Kong and wasn't expecting to buy another watch since I just got my new 26470 grey less than a month. Still on honeymoon.😍I did thought of getting the beautiful ROO Diver white dial for my casual usage as I did find the 26470 grey a bit formal for casual usage. Was casually checking around some ADs and most of them either do not have stock for the white dial or discount wasn't good.On my last day in HK, I came across this AP boutique which was newly opened. Just trying my luck if they have the white dial and if I could get a reasonable discount. They have the white dial! After a short negotiation, I was surprised that I could get a better discount from them than ADs. In fact the price after discount was quite close to my regular grey dealer (cash term) in Singapore which I bought my 26470 from.I decided to pull the trigger since it was quite a good price for a boutique and I did not have to pay in cash. No additional charge for credit card. I also did
For a few weeks I've been helping my brother-in-law purchase a titanium Schumi and we finally received it last week. This past weekend I had the chance to actually see this piece in person and WOW. I've always been a fan of the photos I've seen online and in the different forums, but seeing it in the flesh was just amazing. Hands down the Schumi line is my favorite ROO ever. The details on this thing are just perfect... the hex screws, oversized chrono pushers, red date, razor hands, engravings on the plots, etc... just love everything about this watch, except the hefty price tag. My favorite one is the rose gold version followed by the titanium one. So sad this beauty is not mine!!!Here are some photos I took while I enjoyed the piece for a few minutes.
.christies/lotfinder/a...41bcbc&page=14Christie's is supposed to be one of the top auction houses in the world, but when they describe a Speedy Moon watch as both automatic (the Calibre 861 is even mentioned) and featuring a date, you have to wonder. I don't believe you have to be an expert to see there's no date window! If they can be so wrong on one of the most popular and famous chronographs in the world, what else have they missed . . .
