Rusty you stated that the Hamilton Review thread may go away and be dispersed to the Review and Reference Forum. As a Moderator I would suspect that you are doing the right thing. But here is a request.......I don't know the Forum business.But I would think that there is some value of keeping Hamilton Review "sticky" in the Hamilton Forum.I think that this little test shows the value of having the reviews of one brand in their own Brand Forum. It is obvious that people are not interested in searching around for their reviews. The Hamilton Review "sticky" has 12 reviews and 5,539 hits in 15 days! The Review and Reference Forum has 47 Reviews and 2,774 hits in as long as it has been counted.So I'ma comin' out, guns ablazin' if ewe try to take our review thread away from us! Can't hand-wind new BLNR
I'd been wearing my BLNR for a couple of months now, except on weekends. I recently sold and then re-bought a 116610LV, so I've worn that for two weeks. I grabbed my BLNR this morning, and when I went to wind it, the crown just spins without actually winding the spring. Meaning, I unscrew it, it pops out to the first position, and then if you turn it there is no tick tick tick while it's winding, it just spins. I can pull it out to 2 and 3 to set the time/date/etc., but no matter how many times I push it back, it won't wind.It's just been sitting in its box on my desk for two weeks. Is there some reason it should have gotten like this? I hate to send it in for service when it's only 3 months old. Never had this happen before.
