Invicta 1609 wrist watches news:
Another near mint Conquest auction ended recently:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ht_1024wt_1167Even in this economic climate, and with people concerned about Christmas gifts, these watches are climbing in value. It didn't sell for as much as this one we discussed though:Maybe it's already time to sell!but it still went for a substantial premium above what they sold for in 2008.
I noticed that the Hamilton Khaki Field Auto Chrono is offered with either a 38 or a 42mm case. The 38mm is 14.5mm thick. What's your opinion about that case diameter versus thickness? I realize that the 4mm difference between 38 and 42 is not that much, but it seems that 40mm would be a nice compromise.42mm seems a little large for my wrist, but I want to be sure that the thickness won't be too much for a 38mm case.I'm back in the market because I cancelled the order for the Open Heart and the square Jazzmaster. In fact, I already ordered the 38mm Field Auto Chron with a Brown Face already, and am looking for reassurance that the dimensions will be compatible.
Hi All, I'm new to the forum. Hoping you guys could help answer my questions. I stumbled upon this beauty (can't post image yet) last week as I was recommended by a friend and I'm really interested to buy the watch. I found huge scratch on the bracelets. Hoping I can find some answers here in the forum. 1. Is it good idea to polish 15202ST? Do you think it will lower its price value significantly? I know that some brands should NOT be polished at all, but I don't know much about AP. 2. Instead of polishing, is there any other solution? Is it possible to just replace that 1 plate of the bracelet? I don't mind a few dents here and there, but that scratch really bothers me. 3. Is it possible to replace the bracelet altogether? Will it affect it's values somehow? 4. Regarding the warranty, I was told that its 2 years warranty had recently expired just a couple of weeks ago. As far as I know, AP has 3 years warranty. Is this 3 years warranty new for certain models? The AP 15202ST was first
This sum of cash, whilst not insignificant, cuts out all the PM pieces. Include old or new, fat and slim. At the moment I am umming and ahhhhing (a lot of ahhhiiin) between 16710 pepsi or coke ($10,500 in good nick), GMT2 LN, GMT BLNR, Hulk and the IWC Pilot Mark XVIII. Let me know. For wearing and owning forever, not for reselling later. You'll only make money on watches through luck, or by being Paul Newman.PS I already own a Submariner 16610.
A week ago I was traveling and went into a Rolex AD (never been there before) and asked the usual question ¡°do you have a hulk or as Daytona?¡± Expecting the answer which is what I got ¡°no¡± then the nice sales associate followed ¡°but we have a Batman that just arrived¡±Me not looking for it and never considering it, I said ¡°can you hold it and I will get back to you tomorrow¡±He put it aside and said ¡°sure it¡¯s yours if you want it¡±I posted here and got overwhelming responses that I should go for it. Went back and put it on my wrist and it was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!!Finalized purchase, had it shipped and it arrived todayI paid MSRP but asked for a ¡°gift¡±. I got to pick a nice leather strap and asked them to put it on (not a big fan of CPL) and a $600 wolf watch winder and storage to come next week.Today the beautiful watch arrived :) so glad I stopped by and thank you TRF for the great advise!!
