Romain Jerome RJ.MO.F1.11BB.00 wrist watches news:
Hublot chairman Jean-Claude Biver¡¯s appreciation for speed is evident not only in his choice of partner for the Swiss watch brand¡¯s latest collaborative venture ¡ª the Italian sportscar icon Scuderia Ferrari ¡ª but in the astoundingly short time it has taken to produce the first Ferrari-branded Hublot wristwatch: the Hublot Big Bang Ferrari Magic Gold. Wallpaper image inside. The watch, which was unveiled this week at the Baselworld watch fair, is not only the first fruit of the partnership between Hublot and Ferrari, announced a scant five months ago, but also the first use of an entirely new material developed by Hublot: so-called ¡°Magic Gold,¡± a scratch-resistant alloy of gold and ceramic used for the case. The case is larger than that of a typical Big Bang watch, 45.5 mm in diameter; this is the first variation of the Big Bang case since the model was launched in 2005. Other notable features include a cylindrical bezel, a sapphire dial that shows off the movement (Hublot¡¯s in-house Uni
I thought I would add this to the Omega forum to be fair!!!Which one do you like, Accutron or Omega Asymmetric!!!
I read somewhere that if you send your vintage Omega to Bienne for a service they will return the watch with a report on date of build, sale date etc,is this true?if so, is it possible to get this info without sending the watch to Bienne,I have seen the Omega dates lists around but I beleive they could be out +/- a year or two,or are these date lists about as near as I'm likely to get to knowing the date of my watch? cheers
I think the Patek world timers are great looking watches, with an artistic and well executed complication, but with countries changing their timezones it's becoming increasingly less useful.First it was Moscow, and today i read that Spain is considering moving its clocks back an hour to GMT. When you factor in the inconsitent observances of DST, I'm happy to report i'm no longer tempted...Curious how others feel. Does anyone buy these for their useful complication, or it is simply about the aesthetic?
Hey guys.As a new patek lover, I have to ask.I have seen many contradicting things about this, but does the 5165 have that mesmerising color changing dial that the 5167 has?Problem is that I don't love the size of the 5167, but would be bummed if the 5165 didn't look more or less the same in a smaller size.I don't mind the movement, which I am aware is different. Does not bother me one bit.Also. How difficult would it be to acquire the 5165? Not sure when it was discontinued. Thanks guys!
