U-Boat 6254 wrist watches news:
I've had my Bond SMP for several years now and just don't feel right if I leave the house without it. It is my every day watch and I simply love it.I ran across this Seamaster 120 yesterday and just had to have it for the $200 asking price. I don't know it's value, but I fealt $200 was fair. I know it doesn't have the correct band/bracelet. What else can you all tell me about it? Where is a good place in the USA to send it for restoration, and is it worth the expense?
Hey guys!I finished this one today so I thought that I'd share my results. This is a 1914 Elgin Trench Watch with a nice 15 jewel movement, 33mm polished "Silverode" Philadelphia case, bold Arabic military numeral dial without a single hairline or crack, glass crystal and a black Bund Strap. This watch basically came in two different styles back in the day, with or without the lum holes drilled at the numeral points and with or without the lum hands. This one obviously has the drilled lum holes, VERY cool! This is the first time that I have refilled the drilled lum holes at the numerals though. I have restored quite a few of this same watch but I think that this one turned out the best! The lum dots just look incredible in my book.
Croatia's Prime Minister Dr. Ivo Sanader has a $300,000 collection of wrist watches! This discovery sparked a political corruption scandal (unresolved), not to mention what his wife said when she found out!
Hi everybody I'm new to this and I know you guys are a wealth of knowledge. What do you guys think about the 1970 Omega Moon Watch?
With all the posts of ¡°my AD said¡±, All the ¡°virtual letters¡±, all the speculations of discontinuations, price hikes, new models and all the ¡°what if¡± Aliens abducted the earth where should I hide my rolexes, I propose having a DETECTOR that picks any and all of the above and send them straight to rolex HQ to get stripped off all their watches!! And send them all to me
