Montblanc 104255 wrist watches news:
I live in the uk and have an xl PO on a bracelet with black bezel and want to get a rubber and/or leather band for it. Are there any recommendations or companies to avoid. I've looked at watchworx.co.uk and they look pretty good. Anyone on here used them? Any pics or pointers would be appreciated.
Considering buying 1200 cc Indianapolis. Can anyone help me with information on this watch? Caliber? Quality of manufacture (FM in general)? Can't find much about this on the Web, and, it seems, there are no viable forums for this brand. Any response will be greatly appreciated.
Today TRF member Islatate and I met up, so he can swap out a new strap I purchased from Ray Ray Prodotti (amazing workmanship btw)After completed we headed out to have lunch and concluded the meet with this pic...BTW. .Islatate is a beauty...great guy with a ton of respect and integrity.
I will be purchasing a PO within the upcoming weeks. First off I have a 42mm PO with the new 8500 movement and ceramic bezel on order.Lately, I have been debating whether or nor I should get a 45.5mm.I actually had the 45.5mm Omega on my wrist before with the black rubber band with deployant buckle. I liked the size alot, but I felt that way because the rubber strap hugged it to my wrist and it was actaully comfortable. Now I want to wear the watch on a bracelet and that adds some heft and it also will fit differently. So, does anyone have some side by side pictures of any PO (2500 or 8500) doesn't matter which model, just looking for the size! Thanks!
So.....I'm dipping my toes into Panerai. I've solidly put my choice at 47mm. So, that left me basically looking at the 372, and 422. At first I wasn't a fan of the second hand, but I can understand it's usefulness (is this watch working?). AND THEN I saw the 663, but this has the tobacco/brown dial. Apparently it is a limited run, but it doesn't have the sandwich dial (which I like better), but I think I could overlook that. I'm just not so sure of the brown dial on the rustic brown leather strap. I like the black dial look, just not sure on the brown. So...I'm stuck: 372 (hard to find), 422 (can be found), or the 663 which is more expensive and limited, but not a sandwich dial...and I'm not sure how it'll wear. So...yeah... What say ye?
