Longines L47864116 wrist watches news:
My Speedy is in for Service at the Clearwater Florida center. I was wondering, how long has everyone here waited for their watches to be returned from servicing?Let's get an average.
*ahem*luminox*ahem* I've seen their lugs widths listing all over the place (23.5, 21.5, 23, 19, etc.), but never in the standard widths used by most other manufacturers. What is the recommended NATO strap width for a loomy with lugs that measure 22.5 or 23mm? Would you use a 22mm, or a 24mm strap? I've heard erring on the slimmer side can put too much stress on the lugs, but wouldn't the band simply not fit if you err on a wider strap?
Last night's episode of NCIS had a very long duration (a few seconds) of a close up shot of a Breitling Pilot Chronograph. The "owner" of the watch was a Navy dude who was killed (apparently he was involved with the "enemy"). Tony remarked how he found it odd that someone on a military salary could affor such an expensive watch. As I recall both Jethro and Tony wear Omega watches (Jethro has been seen with the orange band).

Ok, so I dropped off my P series 111 this evening at a local AD, after noticing condensation / fog under the crystal after swimming on vacation several days ago. The AD was skeptical that my name didn't match the cards name. She is sending it in, and gave me no trouble, but admitted she was concerned that might be an issue for me. So, this shouldn't be an issue from what I understand from reading past posts of this nature here. But has it been for anybody? Thanks
