What Is The Best Size For A Watch?
This simple, and highly subjective question seems to have an answer. The question is particularly interesting to me because for the past decade, watch brands have been going back and forth with watch sizes. We saw watches really grow up to almost preposterous dimensions, and then suddenly awkwardly shrink again. Watch brands want to make watch sizes that people want to buy. At the same time, men and women not too familiar with what is in fashion or style might not know a good size to get for themselves or a loved one.I recently asked a question to my readers during the May 2011 watch giveaway. I was fortunate to fulfil one of my desires "to Pilot a Plane"and had my first flying lesson today and of course I "Timed" it with my TOG My "Flying Instructor" Dominic was a true Gentlemen ...and we found something else in common ...~ Cockpit~ Kent and London in the Distance~ River Thames~ I will Cherish this~ few more Pictures over in the Community Forum

Hamilton Horror Stories or OH GOD WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO THIS POOR WATCH
You know they're out there.People who abuse and misuse their poor watches, maybe they don't know what they got from a grandpa or grandma or they don't understand the value.Or maybe you just found a little Hammie, left alone and forgotten in an old box, destine to seize up and die unloved.While I've seen to pretty rank stuff at flea markets, there's one thing that happened recently that tops it all.Around a week ago, I was talking to a classmate (I go to a community college, I meet lots of people). I mentioned that I collect watches and he said that he had gotten a Hamilton (He called it Harinton at first). I started asking him about it and he soon told me something no one should ever hear."Yeah I got it from my granmps, I don't like old watches but I pimped it out"Oh god, i thought"I wanted something really sick looking, i didnt like the gold so i sanded it off with sandpaper."WHATAfter that he proceeded to show me what I think is (was) a Todd or something similar. The styling is certainly not for everyone, but if you like things a little 'different' like I do, it's a lot of fun. 43mm, Sapphire Crystal, Russian Movement #31681 beating @ 21,600. Hunter type case back opens to show Chronograph movement. Very luminous dial. One of 3 'Bullheads' I have from Volmax and love them all. Kurt

BLNR and SD43 in same collection
I own the BLNR and lately I find myself looking at more and more pictures of the SD43. I got my BLNR on my honeymoon and absolutely love the watch. It¡¯s a special watch to me so flipping it is not in the cards. I also have a Speedy Pro which I rotate with the BLNR. Could you find enough room in a small collection for both?
