Invicta 80530 wrist watches news:
The streamlining of Girard-Perregaux, which began last year with the introduction of the Hawk collection, continues with the debut of the new Traveller, an updated version of G-P’s ww.tc collection, at Baselworld 2013. The first two Traveller models are a chronograph with world-time function and a moon-phase model with large date. The new-look Traveller collection features sleeker lines and a softer, more ergonomic silhouette for the 44-mm-diameter cases; long lugs with graduated bevels that accentuate their convex curves; and an interplay of polished and satin-brushed finishes on the case. Also, both the movements’ rotors and the watches’ folding clasps echo the “arrow” shape of Girard-Perregaux’s iconic Three Gold Bridges. The Traveller Moon Phases and Large Date has a 30-part steel case and is powered by Girard-Perregaux’s manufacture automatic caliber GP03300, which has 35 jewels and a 46-hour power reserve. Thanks to TSW for posting pictures of the Rose Gold Grand Prix with the optional Ceramic Bezel. I immediately set out to have the same treatment done to my Forged Carbon Grand Prix and am very pleased! Similarly, I had the date wheel changed to the black with white font. From the second I picked up this watch two and a half years ago, the forged carbon bezel was my biggest complaint when the edges immediately started rubbing off with just my fingers. Over time, the sharp edges of the bezel started looking more and more worn and rounded. Then the new novelties arrived and their ceramic bezels were scratchproof, shiny yet subtle and just upped the classiness of the watches. Fast forward to now, after a long 9 weeks in Clearwater, my issue is finally resolved and the Grand Prix is how it should have always been. The two parts of the bezel now match perfectly with the finish on the top half of the new ceramic bezel the same as the original bottom ceramic half. The completed bezel is I beli
Hi guys, just got myself a Speedmaster Snoopy award on the bay! Yey!Posted, but now I'm in for a weeklong wait. Ahh the wait...
I spoke to the AD I had used to buy my SubC ND earlier this year about possibly getting on a waiting list for the BLNR.He stated that it was suggested to them that the BLNR was discontinued and that a new GMT would be announced at Basel next week. He said if that turned out to be false, he would contact me after the conference. We talked a few minutes about the current state of SS professional watches, and he felt the Subs would remain difficult to get, and suggested that the following were watches he believed he would be able to get going forward on a reliable basis:Air King, Explorer 1 and 2, Deep Sea and Black Bezel GMT.He didn't want to overstate availability of Subs with and without date, he believed they would not stop production of them in SS, but supplies would be very limited. We will see next week I guess.
