Seiko Shurikane or Starfish
Just got this Seiko Starfish to do a custom project. This will take a few days, but in the meantime I wanted to share some photos in its original condition. I did not realize it had the clear plastic sticker on the crystal until after the photosOh well, will take better ones when the project is done, hopefully soon. Pretty nice watch actually, a tad bigger then the Seiko Monster but one could not quite tell because of the usual size dial (26-28mm) solid and practical with loads of lume as per Seiko best standards. Anyway, here are some pics:

Would you buy the same model but in a different color variation?
Many watches have different face, band combinations to option. Some classic styles just draw my eye and recently I had been contemplating a different face and band combination of the same watch. Normally I would say "no" to buying the same watch. What are your thoughts?

New AP...what do you think?
New to the thread. Longtime AP lover. I just picked this up on Thursday, it is technically my 2nd AP. I bought the 44mm stainless the day it came out and loved it as my daily beater for 2 years until 6 months ago I decided to sell to clear up some cash to finish my new house. Right after I purchased mine I bought my wife the new ladies royal oak with diamond bezel(I did not sell hers lol) needles to say I finally got to buy what I consider to be my favorite current AP 44mm. I love the silver dial and contrasting sundials and bezel. Also I noticed a huge difference is the brushing definition on the ceramic bezel. So much deeper then in 2012.
