- watches are in (and honestly, it's not huge, it's a larger face and band - it's what is in) - and this watch is fantastic. It is a heavier watch and I receive compliments on it all the time. No regrets. Excited to wear it and it goes with EVERYTHING.

- Cute watch, nice leather - I like this watch a lot. The leather is very nice, it feels like an MJ bag. I just wish it were a little more green than it is. In real life it's more green than taupe, but still a taupe-y green.

Blancpain 2885F-36B42-53B wrist watches news:
I didn't really see another forum for this question . . . and since Seiko sold the first quartz watches and the Japanese watchmakers still seem to make a lot of quartz watches, I thought I would ask here.People often discuss what are the top or "best" mechanical watches, whether it be Patek, or AP, or even the truly custom handmade watches made by individual watchmakers in Britain and Switzerland . . . But I do not recall seeing anyone discuss what are considered to be the top or "best" quartz watches. What do folks here think?I know that their are Swiss quartz movements, but it seems to me that Seiko and Citizen in particular are driving the state of the art in Quartz watches today (but maybe some others have different opinions).I am thinking that maybe one of the Seiko Perpetual Date Auto Relay Kinetics, like the model pictured below, might be at the top of the heap.Any other nominations??
Dear TRF,Mini TRF G2G in Jakarta last Friday . Went into a couple ADs and literally attacked their watch collection! Since I'm a little perplexed why this incredible beauty isn't getting the attention it deserves, I'm just going to leave these here...This HAS to be the most elegant watch Omega has produced in decades. Just sheer perfection. Nailed the size, nailed the dial, nailed the thickness, and nailed the beautiful movement.
I kind of like the 5170P...but diamond hour markers and a shiny band?? Seems too fem for what could have been a killer. As for rolex the cellini with the moon is kind of cool but not enough to get me buying.I had my hopes set very high for a 5270p or new variant of such.I can't believe it...I really think this will be my first basel in ages where I don't order anything.I'm kind of at a loss...I feel like something is dying inside...uggggggI'll track down a new panerai bronzo I guess...meh
I¡¯ve noticed that the submariner ¡°no date¡± has increased in price and is more desirable than ever. All steel sports Rolex are hard to get lately but it¡¯s a lot more rare to see a 114060 in the grey market these days. Interesting. BTW I LOVE THIS WATCH!IMG_0362.JPGSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
