Have an a level project due on a item that is classed to be of iconic design, thought about the usual car's mini cooper (classic) jaguar e type, DB5, 300 SLwanted to do a watch; specifically a rolexWhat do you guys think is the most Iconic Rolex? the submariner seems to be populari read somewhere that multiple watches have been based upon it - but have they really? and any idea's on some close copy's, doesn't have to be one model just the whole submariner rangei know part of the factor is James Bond wore one as did Steve McQueen does this make it iconic...look forward to your thoughts cheers.(also have a sub and a daytona)
After seeing some pics of this beauty on hornback etc., I'm thinking of complementing the nice OEM rubber with some varieties. So I'm looking for good sources (OEM? aftermarket?), pics would be great, just trying to get ideas and places to buy. Also do you guys go ahead and get OEM buckles and, um, the little metal mini-links that connect strap to watch (seen the name, but can't recall it)? Thanks!
Currently have a DSSD which I love and plan to never part with, but I'm looking into AP and learning toward the ROO Panda, Does anyone have wrist comparison pics, or side by sides w/ a DSSD... Or any input from someone experienced with both, in Tampa, There's nowhere nearby to try on a ROO.
