Ulysse Nardin Acquires Ebel’s Chronograph Caliber 137
Ulysse Nardin has taken another step toward manufacturing independence by purchasing the rights to Ebel’s proprietary Caliber 137, a chronograph movement originally developed for that brand in 1995 and recently used in Ebel’s 1911 BTR collection of men’s watches. WatchTime talked about the new acquisition with Ulysse Nardin CEO Patrik Hoffman, who elaborated on the company’s plans for the nearly 20-year-old caliber and its little-known connection with Ulysse Nardin’s own perpetual calendar movement. PAM 176 Question
Hi Folks I hope this finds everyone well and enjoying this spring like weather, I have a question that I hope some may shed light to, have had my first Panerai a PAM 176 since Oct 08, absolutely love it and the "strap thing" is shear madness as I already have 4, as I digress, back to the question, the watch is not a daily wearer as I change out daily b/t my collection, just as of this week I have notice that it is gaining time and I mean serious time like 5 -7 min over a 24 hr period any suggestions, my dealer is almost 2 hrs away and prefer not to have to send back as I have heard it takes quite a while, thanks for any help you might give.John

hi all,picked up this baby today. It is a U serial number tritium dial, although the lume did not develop any patina yet, although the dots and arrows have a slight contrast to the dial. there is still a faint glow on the dots and arrows but does not last long.Well, looking fwd to it developing the patina, but if not, it is still a gorgeous watch.
