Invicta 18451 wrist watches news:
I apologize in advance if this isn't the best place to post this.I'm shopping for a winder as a gift to my husband-to-be, who just got his first watch: Breitling Blackbird.BLACKBIRD - Blackbird - Chronomat - Presentation - Models - BREITLING | INSTRUMENTS FOR PROFESSIONALS™I'd like a quiet and reliable winder with 2 place setting, but most importantly, I'd like to make sure I get one that has enough turns per day and the correct direction. Any tips on how to figure this out would be appreciated!
The crystal is supposed to be scratch resitant, however I have this one "streak" that does not come off the crystal. Most times one cannot see it. It's only when light refelects off it at a certain angle that one can see it. Not sure what it is as I cannot even feel it when I run my finger tips across the crystal. Is it possible that it may have "scuffed" and needs to be buffered out? Is this common?..I know I may be a little anal, but I love this watch so much. Thanks
My SRP227 was running 12-15 secs slow in a 24hr period. Within Seiko specs but I wasn't happy. Sent her to Jack at International Watch Works for a 3 point regulation. Now she runs 5-6 sec slow which I think is the way it should have been from the factory.
I just got a watch with the Eta 7750 movement and have a couple questions. First I have heard some automatics can not be wound manually can this be wound with the crown? If so which way do I wind it toward the 12 or 6 o' clock position? I have also heard some automatics only wind when the rotor spins in one direction what about this one? And if it only winds in one direction which direction for this particular model? Thanks.
I've been thinking about getting a Panerai. It will be my first and only Pam. It has to be a 3 hander with a sandwich dial. I will admit that is a classic Panerai look, and indeed it looks very good. However, I am a complication type of guy who likes rotating bezel, chrono, etc.So the question is, if you like complication in your watches, does the basic 3 handers Panerai become boring after a while???PS. I rule out chrono Pams since it just doesn't look right to me. the flyback does look very good, but is out of my price range.TIA,anthony
