Replacing Old Lume
I¡¯ve got a watch where the lume on the hands is no longer useable (it¡¯s falling out), but the lume in the markers is ok. It is that grainy, dark, greenish-brown that all you ¡°patina¡± nuts love. Has anyone had any luck in matching this look? I¡¯ve got plenty of the new lume, but it just wouldn¡¯t look right on this one.I suppose the color could be matched with some kind of paint, but I wouldn¡¯t know how to get that ¡°grainy¡± look. It wouldn¡¯t have to glow as the old stuff doesn¡¯t any more. Steve
