Cartier Cartier 32269 wrist watches news:
Just got back from visiting AFT today. Met Gary who was great at showing me all their Seiko lines. I was there to see the GS gmt, which did not disappoint (hopefully I can swing a deal!). It was really cool seeing so many spring drive watches in one place, and Gary couldn't have been nicer or knowledgeable (he handles their cigar biz mostly, but still knew his stuff about the watches). Sorry I missed Joe, but did have a chance to briefly say hi to the owner, Mitchell. It was cool being in a place (I wouldn't call it a store, more like a friendly place to hang out, talk watches, and smoke a fine cigar, which I did) with such a variety of cool stuff- watches (10+ brands of swiss, german and japanese), cigars, shaving tools, etc. Even my wife was happy sitting in the "lounge" watching 6 tv's and having a cigar with me. What a great way to start our vacation in Arizona! How cool is it that we can take a hobby we love and actually meet some of those people we talk with both here and on othe
Greetings Hamilton fans,I've lurked here for a while, and have finally joined up.I've collected several Hamiltons over the years, and this one has become a favorite. It's a Kirby with a 982 movement. It's at an excellent watchmaker for an overhaul and to have the hands re-plated. I'll post an "after" pic when I get it back. It's about 23mm wide, and 35mm from lug to lug. It's very small compared to most watches these days, but it doesn't look very tiny on the wrist.
About a year ago I was able to get my hands on a new Seiko Sumo case. I always wanted a Sumo but never really had enough cash to afford one. When I got this I was off to a great project, I told myself. I then got an original Seiko 6r15 movement and since I could not get the original Seiko Sumo dial and hands, I resorted to the next best thing, the Seiko Marine Master dial and hands. This did not cost any less really but since I bought the parts staggered in a period of a couple of months, I was able to finance them.I was happy for a bit but then I got boredI wanted a change. I tried some more classic hands, the ones from the Seiko Alpinist earlier version. I liked them but the lume was a little weaker then the monster lume of the dial markers. This was visible after exposing the watch to the sun for a few minutes, and I became annoyed. But in my search I could not find any other Seiko or aftermarket hands that I liked, that would fit and that were as bright as the hour markers
I came across this pic of an omega 2299.80.00. Does this watch came with this bracelet organically? This is not the usual bracelet I see, for sure. But my question is does this watch come with this alternative bracelet.
Hey guys, whats the diffrence between a Moon and a Pro speedmaster? Also, what can I expect to pay for this piece? Thanks!
