Last week, I had the pleasure of visiting the Roger Dubuis manufacture outside of Geneva and had the double pleasure of meeting Mr. Dubuis himself. After touring the manufacture and learning of the rigorous processes behind the Poinçon de Genève standard, we were led into a large conference room with a sweeping view of Mont Blanc and the not-yet-completed Richemont Campus Genevois de Haute Horology. When Dubuis entered the room – situated quite literally at the crux of the old guard and future of the industry – one of the key things on my mind was what was on his wrist that day. 2 OF 4 The 37mm case sits elegantly on the wrist. The Roger Dubuis Sympathie Bi-Retrograde Perpetual Calendar Moonphase was introduced around 1995-1996. The 37mm stylized cushion-shaped gold case appears baroque, but not in an offensive way. Hi TRF,Sorry for the longish post.New member here and my first post. I didn¡¯t find this great community until very recently. I have been trying my best to read as much as I can...but most of my time ended up in the forsale sections:)A quick and brief intro about myself and my Rolex/watch journey up til present. I am in my mid 40s and a tech executive in a tech company. I have always been happy wearing my Casios, Seikos, and Citizens as my every day watch and still am but have a few nicer watches to go with the them now. My wife bought me my first Rolex about 4 years ago, a pre-owned DateJust 16234 from our jeweler who is also a Rolex AD. I have really enjoyed this watch. The following year we bought a pre-owned SD 16600 Y serial which was a trade-in at this same store.Fast forward 2 years, I have bought 2 brand new rolexes from the same store a couple weeks ago. I wanted an everyday work watch that fits into my work environment. Something low key, not too flashy, not too big, not too
