Hi Guys first post, I have various Omegas a Rolex Sub and two Longines, Hydro Conquest and Vittesse, and I get more compliments about how good the Hydro conquest is than any of the others,and I mean every week someone comments on how its one of the best divers watches available, I dont dive, not in water anyway, is it that good.on a seperate note my boss is a Ferrari owner and recently gave me a copie os this years Ferrari year book and I was very interested to read that Enzo Ferraris favourite watch was a Longine, not sure which model, but it impressed me nontheless.

How much of a Swiss Made purist are you?
Does it matter to you how much of your Swiss Made watch is actually made in Switzerland? Are you a purist and insist that your Swiss Made watch not only be cased and inspected in Switzerland, but that 85,90, 95 or 100 percent of its components come from that country. Or are you satisfied with the Federation's rules governing use of Swiss Made:"a law "regulating the use of the name 'Swiss' for watches" sets out the minimum conditions that have to be fulfilled before a watch merits the "Swiss made" label.This law is based on a concept according to which Swiss quality depends on the amount of work actually carried out on a watch in Switzerland, even if some foreign components are used in it. RO 15400 date change problem
My RO appears to have a slight problem recently. The date change is no longer smooth. When changing the date with the crown, I must pause a short 1/2 sec before I can change to the next day. It's like the mechanism got some resistance and a bit stucked. But it is still smooth when winding or adjusting the hour/mins. The date also change at midnight without problems. Any idea what's wrong?
