Jaeger LeCoultre 705.84.20 wrist watches news:
Found this on the Dutch Rolex Forum, thought it would be interesting to share here..[...] The first thing you'll notice about this watch that makes it different from all other Comex Rolexes is that it's a GMT, not a Submariner or Sea-Dweller, meaning it is NOT a diving watch. Comex is, after all, the deep sea diving group that works with all off-shore oil companies, so it makes sense their watches would be divers. The other attribute you'll notice is missing on this Comex GMT is the name "COMEX" on the face. Having that name on the face of your Rolex is half the fun of owning a piece from this diving company; it acts as a secret seal that identifies you to other real watch fans as someone who "gets it".However, having a Comex Rolex without the name on the front might be even more fun when talking to real watch guys, although it won't get you noticed quite as quickly when you're out and about.Anyways, we digress. So why is this watch an aviator's watch and why does it not look like any
Hey guys,I was hoping someone could tell me how to remove the AR coating on one of my watches? It's one of my favorite custom watches and it has a pretty good AR coating that makes the black dial appear blue...thing is, I want it to look black! I could use some advice and any specific techniques or products to use. Also, the watch has a PVD coating...do I have to be cautious as to not damage the PVD coating when trying to remove the AR on the crystal? Thanks in advance guys!
GreetingsI was just wondering if anybody has a stingray strap, and what you think of it. I'm looking at buying a black one, but I have never seen one in the flesh. They seem to have an interesting texture.
Hi guysSo after 40th anniversary nautilus release, can we expect any other update/release for next year let¡äs say in Basel? Thanks
What's everyone's opinion on this model? I haven't really paid any attention to it till today. I'm so close to liking it, but I just can't seem to. I like the 47mm 1940's case and all, but I just can't stand the date function and the spring bar lugs. If it had no date, and screw down lugs, I'd be all over it. I guess I just really want a 399. Actually, I'd love to see a 399 without the seconds hand!
