Jacob & Co. h24r wrist watches news:
It's been a trend as of late with some of the larger brands that have been around for a while to bring back a classic model from their archives. Whether as a special edition or as a retro mainstay of their line, these reissues stand out amongst modern watches, often surpassing them in style. Tissot continues this trend with a complex watch that is a dazzling today as it must have been when it was first released; the Heritage Navigator 160th Anniversary. The story of the Tissot Heritage Navigator 160 starts in 1953 with Tissot's 100th anniversary. The 1950's marked the dawn of commercial air travel. It was trendy, sexy and luxurious, so it is of no surprise that watch brands began designing for the jet-set. Famously, you have watches like the Rolex GMT-Master, with its iconic "Pepsi" blue and red bezel as well as GMT function for tracking multiple time zones. For their centenary Tissot created a very innovative World Time watch, which could be used to tell the time, at a glance, for majo
Here is the other version of the new US66 with the small seconds window and the date window seems to show the date properly. It is handsome IMHO but. . . .. . . . . . . . .. 50mm in size.
Hi there Longines loversI had a quick query regarding Longines straps. A wee while ago I had a Longines Evidenza with a creme face, roman numerals and a quartz movement. It was on a fabulous black calf strap with off- white stitching and deployant. A very nice watch. It's been a while, but the model number was something like L2.655.something. Maybe 654. It is a discontinued model.Fast forward to today- the happy owner of a midsize Omega Railmaster on brown croco. A nice watch that would be completed by that Longines strap. Does anyone know:- does the Evidenza strap come in 19mm width?- does it fit the Omega deployant?- where can I get one? Thanks so much for reading this far. Replies appreciated!Cheersps does anyone know if Longines makes half links for the Hydroconquest bracelet and where they can be sourced?Pps I have spoken to my AD and they don't know.Ppps- thank you again!
I was hoping that you guys may know where I can buy the stainless steel band (H605.326.100) for the Jazzmaster Chrono. I was able to get a fantastic deal on the watch but it had the light tan leather band, which is nice, but I would like the stainless also. The only website I've been able to find requires you request a price from them - which I will do. However, I was hoping maybe someone has one to sell or can point me in the appropriate direction to obtain one. Thanks!
Finally I got round to taking some slightly better (although still not great) photos following a number of rude () comments about my camera skills!
