My travels to Mexico
In the spirit of John's travel threads, today I am writing this from Playa del Carmen (gotta love WiFi). Yesterday I visited the Mayan ruins in Coba, Quintanna Roo, and the tallest remaining pyramid on the Yucatan peninsula The lookout pyramid is on the right, and the bottom left image is taken from the 138ft/42M tall Nohoch Mul pyramid. The skull on the top left was on the ground between two smaller pyramids.Today, water park and zip lines(my 13 year old is itching to try these; dad also...)Initially here for a wedding, but having a great time while we are here-Sheldon

Powell Has Arrived !
....The seller got this watch in the mail quickly ......it arrived yesterday, and I finally got a couple of photos.......Tues it goes to visit the watch doc, as it runs more than a little fast ........and what is it about the tine crowns .......I have rather small hands and I have had trouble winding several watches lately .....including the crown for this one .....and it's the Hamilton crown and it's marked ......I can barely get my findgers on it .......and my only other choice is to use jewelry pliers and I hate to do that as they don't have the sensitivity that fingers do .....and the possibility of winding too tight are there....but without further ado ....my $36 Hamilton Powell from 1958and here's the back ......anyone have any ideas how to open the back ? ......is it a front opening watch ? so there it is ....I think it has a champagne colored dial .......

New Breitling Rubber Strap
Just purchased a new Breitling rubber strap for my Galactic II and couldn't be happier. It is a very soft rubber and fits the watch perfectly. It feels like a whole different watch, much lighter and so comfortable. I ordered the blue to compliment the navy blue dial. I'm taking Mystro's advice and replacing the 22mm spring bars for 23mm. Plan to wear it on an upcoming dive trip to Bonaire. What do you guys think?

Going from Gold Sub to Gold GMT
I currently have a Gold black dial sub (ceramic) A buddy of mine keeps wanting me to sell him my gold sub. I¡¯m tempted to sell him and replace with the New gold GMT. Money out of pocket would be minimal. I really like the gold sub but and don¡¯t want to have any regret. I do have a white gold smurf also, so I was thinking of doing the deal to diversify and have something a little different in the collection. Anyone ever gone from a sub to a gmt and had regrets.
