Did Waltham Make a Pershing Star Dial Military Watch Just Like an Elgin ? ? ? ?
Did Waltham make a Pershing Star Dial around WWI or is this model called something else? I have several of the Elgin Pershings but I have never seen this Waltham Star Dial model. Can't find any reference about this one in any of the books I have. Was this one covered in Zero Hour maybe? Thanks for any help in advance !

Watch"patina" question
I have purchased several vintage Hamilton wrist watches. Some have a very nice patina on the dial from age. I've included a pic of a 1941 "Vincent" that I recently purchased that has a nice patina on the dial. To my mind, it adds to the beauty of the watch. But I'm wondering if the watch would be more valuable if the dial is restored to it's original condition and the patina is removed. Any thoughts?Mark

Issue with my 5960/1A
Well¡with the recent bout of Patek watch issues, I guess it was just a matter of time before I am hit.I have a 2015 5960/1A - Annual Calendar Flyback Chronograph Power Reserve and Day / Night indicator which started having this particular issue a couple of days ago:It runs fine but when I pull out the crown to make any adjustment, the Power Reserve automatically drops to empty. Also I have been suspicious that the rotor is not winding the barrel. I have to manually wind the crown to bring up the power reserve indicator. Luckily it is under warranty so will ship off to NYC service center soon but have any of you experienced the same issue? Is there anything I can do to correct it on my own?
