Cartier WG600011 wrist watches news:
Hi,I just received my new PO Quantum of Solace edition from a reputable dealer. It looks brand new, with its hang tags, protective stickers, etc. It also appears to be working fine. Upon closer inspection, however, I noticed that there is a rather visible gap between the Helium escape valve and the case, even if the valve is closed tight. This gap shows a little bit of the thread that the valve screws on to. This gap and thread are only visible from the top though. The bottom does not show the gap (or thred) at all. Is this normal for all 45.5 m. Planet Oceans or did I receive a defective watch? This is my first experience with XL POs so I don't know whether this is normal or not and I don't want to sound like a full if I had to talk to my dealer about this. My old Seamaster 300m (2008) does not show that gap at all by the way, but I wonder if it's due to its smaller size (41 m). Anybody out there having the same issue with their XL Planet Ocean? Any help would be greatly appre
This Bulova Watch belonged to my friend Janet's dad.....a rose gold watch with white letters.....there are quite a lot of them out there.......what there isn't out there a bunch ......is a watch band like this .......from the outside, looks like other bands ......but when you turn it inside out .....( try that with any other watchband but a Spiedel or wanna be......) and then stretch it out ....ooooooooooand you can angle it because of those wonderful joints .....and I love the neatly folded over tabs where the tops are attached......such an intricate and beautifully made band ......isn;t that just the coolest ? .....made by Foster .....a company that I am not familiar with .....and is most probably the band that either came with the watch or was bought for it immediatly ......NE one else ever seen one of these ?
I feel like the new kid on the block.....not that boy band This is my first post in the Japanese & Asian Watch Forum.I just wanted to let you guys know that I have a Seiko SR15 Prospex (Sumo) on the way. This will be my first Seiko diver,Mr. Bosc. gave me some great advice and his review is very enticing.I'll keep you guys posted about it.
Not a pleasant subject but a real one. What do you do when a watch dies?I have an old Wenger that has expired and still lives in the back of a drawer. Also an old Seiko kinetic, dead eco drive and a couple of poorly judged Ebay vintage purchases that have expired in my care.I just can't bring myself to dispose of these poor, expired watches.I assume that I am NUTZ!!!
Hi Al,Really keen on a ROO 264 SS, thing is I have small wrists, I own a Rolex DSSD which think looks ok on my wrists but I'm not sure if I could get away with the ROO in 44mm flavour.Anyone here with small wrista and big watches?
