Tissot is a brand that hardly needs any introduction. They've existed for 160 years and are available globally. They have large ad campaigns, famous brand ambassadors and just about everything else you'd expect from a large watch brand. And large they truly are, as they are part of the mega Swatch group. But despite their scale, their heritage and their Swiss Made credentials, they manage to keep prices in the accessible range. And not just for their most basic line, but for some very interesting mechanical watches including chronographs, COSC grade movements and today's topic, an 80-hour power reserve.Amongst the newest of their line are a few series of watches that wear the moniker "Powermatic 80" on their dial, which indicates the presence of an 80-hour power reserve movement, specifically the new and exclusive ETA C07.111. WOW. This is a MANS watch. The weight is unreal. The feel is awsome. Wife was with me, and was saying "Get it, get it". I mulled it over in the store for 45 minutes. I love the blue dial and smoothe bezel. The 41mm is superb.. I actually went to look at Patek's but they had like 5 of the basic models. Very dissapointed. The price just kills me though. Either 1 rolex, or 2 Patek's or 350 invictas.. Or (to infinity and beyond)

Patek is delivering the 5650G to ADs in the US... This one was delivered and sold.I'm amazed at the speed these watches have turned up at ADs. Anyone else seen this watch yet in the wild?

new 5119 (with or without tiffany branding) vs preowned 3919
Hi everyone!I am having a hard time debating between three calatravas and would like your opinion.First, I am torn between the 5119 and 3919. I tried on the rose gold 5119, and it is absolutely gorgeous. I thought the size of the dial was great, but the one minor issue I have with this model is that the roman numerals appeared to me a tad bit stretched.Which brings me to the 3919--I love the proportions of the roman numerals on the 3919, but the downsides I fear stem from the fact that it is preowned from Tourneau, which comes with the store's 2-year warranty and no box.If I were to choose the 5119, the other question is how important the Tiffany branding is. The store representative touted the Tiffany branding as unique and added collector's and waxed poetic about the stamping process. I am truly a fan of the simplicity of the dial and watch itself, and the Tiffany & Co to me sits awkwardly at the bottom of the subsecond ring. I did think it looks spectacular on the 5196 with
