- I ordered 3 watches of the limited collection. All are a great value. This watch is a go to piece. It works with everything day or night and so comfortable. I do agree with another reviewer, the presentation could better display the duct.

I saw one of these at an antique mall today while looking for old Omegas. Even though it was a smaller sized watch (boys size?), it still appealed to me as I like the older (and smaller) vintage watches. Suppose to be made in the early 1960s. I can't imagine anybody's son getting one of these in the old days (before kids became spoiled rotten) so were these for boys or are they just a smaller sized watch?I did a search and didn't find any info. on this forum Can someone enlighten me about the Speedking model? Seemed pretty cheap too, for a Rolex? Thanks!John
In looking at vintage Rodneys (and others) from the 50's, I've noticed that some crowns have the "H" on them, while others are smooth. Did Hamilton use smooth crowns during the 50's, or would these be replacements? Thanks,Bob
So I just acquired a watch which will probably need a bit of work. It's a Waltham 18s 1877 model (I think!) but it's in an open-face Waltham coin silver case that has the crown at 3. I've been trying to figure out if the case was modified from a hunting case or if they made an open-face case with the crown at 3...As you can see, as is the watch is missing the end of the minute hand as well as one of the case screws for the movement on the back. I shall have to find some parts.. I used the NAWCC serial number database for Walthams to find out some more info like year mfd. (1883-84). The database says this S/N should have a hunting case.Any particular thoughts on this watch? Thanks!Andrew
What is the deal with the hybrid screw/pin on the new Omega bracelets? Does this combination serve a specific purpose? The screws are so tiny and are difficult to manipulate. I'm not sure why omega didn't use one solid screw (like Rolex) to connect the links. Anyone have any ideas?Sorry if this has been discussed before, I did a cursory search and didn't find anything on par at least via the thread title. Thanks friendsSteve
