- I have really enjoyed this watch. I particularly like the altimeter when I'm hiking because it let's me know on up and back hikes how much elevation I will have to face on the return trip. The compass is cool and the temperature reading is helpful. I also really like the day glow feature that automatically turns on when you move your arm in the night. Sleeping with it took a bit getting used to, but at least when I wake up in the middle of the night, I can see the time. Great buy and would highly recommend it. I would have given it 5 stars, but the alarm sound is too faint to really be useful.

In his new movie The Expendables, Sylvester Stallone wears the Panerai Luminor 1950 Regatta Rattrapante (PAM332). Panerai will produce only 500 examples of the chronometer-certified special limited edition, which features a split-second chronograph that counts down the 5 minutes to the start of a yacht race. The DLC-treated Luminor case measures 44mm in diameter, and DLC treatment has also been extended to the three buttons, winding crown and trademark lever bridge which protects the crown and ensures its watertight seal. Waterproof to 100 meters or 10 bar, this watch has a screw-down back plate which is burnished and engraved with the logo of the Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge, along with the edition year and the model’s identifying numbers and production number. The Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge brings together magnificent yachts from days gone by, restored to their former glory and ready to do battle in a series of regattas on an international circuit, with stages in the
The modern: a 2008 ChronoCockpit A13358 with a Valjoux 7750 automatic (Breitling caliber13).The vintage: a 1970 Long Plaing 815.4 with a Valjoux 7736 manual wind....and of course the photo where I finally realized how good the Canon G9 was - and it's the one I'll be submitting when I go gunning for Shayne in the next Breitling Forum masthead competition!I'll always be a dress watch collector, particularly from the 60's but I'm finding myself more & more drawn to chronographs. So if anyone else has an interesting one-two punch fire away! We could always use a few more pictures.
So the topic says it all....what sort of discount would you guys expect on a stainless/leather 43mm navi01??? Retail 8250. I have a hard time as I know it won't retain anywhere near the value of a Rolex but it's always been on my bucket list. And frankly I've turned down too many great deals in the past...... New Monaco for 2300, new monbrilliant for 2600, preloved gmt2 for 4500..... Don't ask why just always a bad time....anywho.....what can I expect?
The SN of modern SmPs is under the lug, but is the SN somewhere inside the case too?
Hi all,I am relatively new to watches and love this forum. My only piece is the Black Bay Black ETA, which I wear 24/7. As much as I like it, the no date Sub does call to me. I¡¯ve considered selling the BB and using proceeds toward a Sub, but also have considered keeping BB and buying Explorer, which is my other favourite Rolex. While I fancy myself as a one watch guy, the BB and Explorer combo would give me two different looks vs having the diver look everyday if Sub was my only watch. I dress casual everyday. Wear a suit a handful of times all year. Any opinions welcome! Thanks to a great group of enthusiasts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
