- So happy to find more things in multi tones and even better when I find rose tone. Wish Skagen had more stainless bracelet style watches. Nice low file and understated look. Can be casual or dressy.

My little mini report of the Patek Philippe Exhibition in Singapore.I attended the first day of the exhibition on Thursday 27th May for a guided tour of the exhibition in the ballroom of the St Regis Hotel.Main entrance of the exhibitionSign near the foyerAnd these are the only 2 photos of the exhibition I could get!Since I arrived a few minutes early I was going to take some shots of what was on display in the cases. As I was preparing to take my first shot, a representative kindly said no photographs allowed!!!!! Considering there was security around and they were armed, a few photographs wouldn't have hurt.My copy of the brochure givenIt contained quite a detailed description of many models and history of the company.Vintage AdWorld TimePocket WatchesGems from the MuseumMy apologies for not been able to take more photos.Ive seen a detailed report on PuristPro if anyone would like full photos.
I am hoping that someone out there can advise me what movements might have been used in an empty family pocket watch case. Some pictures are attachedIt is a Keystone watch case. It has the Keystone name above the Keystone logo above what looks like a set of scales. In another spot it says J.Boss and guaranteed 15 years. The aperture at the back for the movement is about 40mm.What I am seeking is a suitable movement, including what it might have had and what that is available today might fit. It has a winder with a square shaft protruding 2-3 mm into the movement space. The case has serial number 2745825 and a plain case with my grandfather's initials.Any help will be much appreciated.
I had bought a Perpetual Calender watch when I graduated high school in 1988.I had paid about $300 at Nordstoms and was looking for some help finding a similar watch today. When you search for perpetual calendar watches, the overwhelming result are $30,000+ Palek Philippe watches. Can anyone point me in the direction of an affordable perpetual calender watch that would have been available at Nordstroms in the late 1980's, early 1990's?I had found a picture of a Timex, but wondering if there were other manufactures offering watches in the price range of a high school student with a great summer job in 1988?Here is the Timex I found, and I remember the calender was around the bezel, under the glass.
Today while wondering around I walked into one of the many watch stores and struck a deal on what I have found out is a very rare Audemars Piaget Royal Oak 25920 Anual Calendar. I used to think the watches were ugly and for rappers as it is the only depiction I've seen of them but a friend who is an aficionado has shown me his 15202. It made me think very differently about the brand but the idea was shelved for lack of availability in my home town and just being busy with other things. While bumming around I almost buy a Seiko Credor skeleton dialed watch in platinum but temporarily passed in hopes of going back for a better deal after they thought about it. That's when I walked in and saw this, it reminds me of a blue dial omega Speedmaster I have but the white index markers and hands remind me of the Nautlus I want but can't afford. At first I was concerned about the size but it is the only one that would fit under my cuff, which is very important to me given how tempramental these w
It seems the only AP AD in Texas I have heard of is in Frisco. Does anyone know of any other places that carry a collection of AP's in Texas? I'm really wanting a 15300, and even though I know it's discontinued I'd really like to check out some others and try them on before I buy Grey. Any places in the DFW or Austin area that have a selection of used AP's?Thanks Gentleman,Six
